Privacy policy

Darkframe AI (“we”, “us”) runs Terror Vision, an interactive found-footage service with paid crawls and a shared live channel. Questions about this policy go to [email protected].

• Account details you give us through Clerk, including email address and display name.
• Billing status from Stripe: customer and subscription identifiers, plan (Real time horror or Broadcast), and credit allotments. We do not store full card numbers.
• Service data: crawl progress, choices, prompts, generated stills and clips, live-channel chat, and credit ledger entries.
• Optional camera or upload stills if you cast yourself into a crawl. Those images are sent to our video provider to generate shots and stored so your room can reuse them until you clear them.
• Technical logs and product analytics from hosting (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights), first-party usage events (time on site, pages, prompts, country/region from the edge), Sentry error and session telemetry, plus abuse signals used to protect sign-up and checkout.

We use this information to run your account, film crawls and live beats, process payments, prevent abuse, understand how the product is used (including time spent, prompts, and geography), and reply when you write support. We do not sell your personal information.

We share data with vendors only as needed to operate the service:

• Clerk — sign-in and account identity
• Stripe — checkout, subscriptions, and the billing portal
• Convex — application database and realtime state
• FAL — generation of images and video from your prompts and stills
• Vercel — hosting, analytics, and speed insights
• Sentry — error monitoring, performance traces, session replay, and product metrics
• Arcjet — bot and abuse protection on sign-up and payments

Clerk sets authentication cookies so you stay signed in. Stripe uses cookies on checkout. Analytics cookies, if any, measure how the site performs. You can block non-essential cookies in your browser; the product may then require you to sign in more often.

We keep account, billing, and generation records while your account is open and as long as we need them for security, accounting, or law. You can ask us to delete your account and associated content on our data deletion page or by emailing [email protected]. We may retain limited records required for fraud prevention or tax purposes.

You may access or correct account details in Clerk, manage billing in Stripe, clear a cast-in reference still from a crawl, and request deletion of your Terror Vision data on our data deletion page or at the support address above. If you are in a region with additional privacy rights, email us and we will handle the request as required.

Terror Vision is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor created an account, write us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top of the page will change when we do. Continued use of Terror Vision after an update means you accept the revised policy.
